Believe

Hard to believe some of the things we see and hear...even when we see the evidence...the charred ashes of what was once a home, wreck car on the bed of a tow truck, loved one in a hospital bed, tubes and machines surround, the flower covered casket. Hard to believe...

One of the past Blue Blood episodes has Danny waiting on word about the condition of his son, laying in hopital with severe brain injury.  He hears his sister, Erin, say that it will be alright...and Danny responds "you don't know that."  Erin says something to the effect that she doesn't know but she believes he will be ok, and sometimes "believing is better than knowing."  Danny questions, "You still have faith?" 

What do you believe when faced with struggles, hard circumstances, sickness, sadness, troubles of every kind...where is your faith?  

Believe.  Not what you think, not what you think you know, not what you see...Believe in Jesus Christ.
