“He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.”

We need to walk in this world with a clear perspective of our purpose...to be salt and light, to bring God's flavor and the light of Jesus Christ with us wherever we go...but we must also be guarded abiut the company we keep...those that are closest to us...the one's who we allow to offer us comfort and counsel. The effectiveness of our salt and light may be compromised if we fail to be on guard. Who are you listening to? Give prayerful consideration to the counsel of God's Word and seek His Wisdom and discernment...your business is His business!
“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
James 3:13-18 NKJV

““You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
