Sunday morning. On the porch. Sorting through a heap of emotions and thoughts, on everything but the One I came out to talk to. It is not unusual for the thoughts in our head to quickly overtake us...quiet reflection on God, His Word and listening for His answers to questions in our spirits will be driven out by "thinking" and "talking to ourselves." Have you found this to be true? This morning, I needed Him...and found distractions! Easy to recognize, harder to stop! But God sent a little reminder of His presence, glistening wings in the wet grass...a busy hummingbird...a friend connected virtually...a scripture and a song. It isn't hard to find Him...His presence surrounds. https://youtu.be/vx6mfAgHDsY
“The LORD your God is in your midst, A Warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with joy; He will be quiet in His love [making no mention of your past sins], He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.” Zephaniah 3:17 AMP
